Welcome to Barossa Museum
Former 1865 Post Office, now an interesting museum holding historical relics portraying the areas German heritage.
Some of the more significant exhibits featured in the museum are church furniture with German inscriptions, a Kruger organ, model of the Wartburg castle contained within a cabinet, made by Karl Launer master cabinet maker and pottery by Samuel Hoffmann.
Traditional black wedding dress and other clothing, tools and artefacts.
A large map showing the various German states with villages, towns and cities marked; where German settlers came from.
The museum is located in the Barossa Valley about an hours drive from Adelaide.
